Another loss due to political correctness
Veteran ACC referee Karl Hess made an "ethnic" remark to former chairman of the Wake Forest University board of trustees named Mit Shah and is now out of a job. Mit Shah, Now the CEO of an Atlanta-based hotel management company, is of Indian descent and was born in New Jersey, but he grew up in Winston-Salem. What could this 25 year ACC veteran have said that was so devastating during a recent Louisville-Wake Forest game in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, that it made Shad jump on his Twit account? Hold on to your mouse. Here it is:

Hess was fired for this remark. Really?
I can see the hyper sensitive dolts calling for an apology from Hess for being unprofessional and ignorant, since Shah's decent is not from Egypt. If Hess would have ended his comment with something like, "... you Mobratu looking, mother fucker!" then I could see the outrage. But the cowards who run the ACC decided to just fire him. It is a lot easier to cave to the mob than to stand up to them.
Now Hess is no angel, but he is firm and like to "goof around a lot, and there was no intent to hurt anyone." True dat, Hess. But you can't joke around with sad, tight-wad people who can't take a joke.
Sadly, this is the new America.
