Scandal, schmadal At this point in his presidency, I hope that Obama is a pathological liar and not as inept and clueless as he appears to be. Of course he could be a puppet for a super-secret, string pulling Freemason-esque agency, but if we want to go that far, I prefer the chain smoking, creepy old guy from The X-Files. When I examine the scandals surrounding the Obama administration I fully expect a Wachowski styleuprising to drive these people out of office. Wishful thinking, I know. People are comfortable where they are, the voters made their decision and will stand by it, either out of ignorance or by sheer head-in-the-sand prideful stubbornness. To prove this point one just needs to look at the President’s approval rating, which is now at a historic low of 41% . Whoopty freaking doo. So he has low numbers, so Bush’s approval ratings (despite dragging us into a decade + long war and running our deficit up to historical highs) are higher than Obama’s, so what if ...

Today is a time of remembrance when we pause, and in our own way, pay our respects to the men and women who have fought for this country, some even giving the  ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. In an effort to boost our economy, and ladle out of the poop pot what is left of this country, the President is pushing to open our trade with our foreign friends who own most of our economy (China owns 20% of the US Treasury). Obama has been wooing President Hu of China in an effort to have the country invest in the United States even further, and also request that China stop making us look like incompetent morons by launching Chinese missiles off of our coasts. During the summit, China announced $45 billion in contracts and said it would increase its investments in the U.S. by several billion dollars — deals that Obama said will support 235,000 American jobs. Nine years have gone by since the attacks on American soil that killed 3,000 people. To this day, it is still the most vivid example of monstrous grotesqueness I have ever seen. I read an article about the blasphemous posting of 500 pictures of Obama with an eerie touch up to look like The Joker. Aboslutely brilliant. I would have to agree with the author of Atlas Shrugs that it is becoming more and more difficult to get away with disagreeing with the President. Freedom of speech doesn't seem to apply when it makes him look bad. For example, this picture was deemed "racist" by the liberals and Obama nut swingers. Even the US Post Office is getting involved with defacing government property. Interestingly enough, for 4 years we had to see this type of ridiculousness from the moronic left and the media embraced it, citing dissent is the greatest form of patriotism. Obama gets a free pass, Bush got his face smeared in his shit. Buckle up folks. It has only just begun.

I can't believe I missed this tidbit of news from a few days ago, but it appears a drone attack has killed Barra-, err Obama bin Laden's son. Not that the chicken shit will miss his son, if he even knew about him, but it is comforting to know Saddam will have another Muslim extremist to chat with while he is burning in Hell and getting pineapples rammed up his ass every 15 minutes. I am just waiting on Obama (our President) to apologize. I am surprised this was even allowed to happen under the President's watch considering he made the comment that "victory" is not the goal in Afghanistan . The five year mark approaches for the start of the most important war of our time. Nary a word is spoken, however, by our Presidential hopefuls. The Democrats have resorted to their old tricks and all the Republicans have to do is sit back and enjoy the show and Clinton and Obama duke it out. I think that 5 years is a long time to be tied up in a place where feelings of our presence (by the locals) are so misplaced. Then again, a lot of people who don't want us there probably are reallyh locals anyway. I'm sure there are thousands of people form Iran, Syria, and other asshole countries, who are there solely to make our lives a living hell as we try to get some semblance of sanity in the region. I have taken a serious hiatus from the political blogging, mainly because I have been extremely busy with the new move, new job, etc., but also because it is a pain in the ass to follow and comment on. My previous job allowed me the opportunity to research and write consistently because I was very a short timer and nobody expected me to participate in the Navy's daily bullshit. But I did visit some of my daily reads and find that there is still a lot of tension in Iran, Iraq, Afghani--- well, pretty much everywhere over there. And jack shit is being done about it. Still. I read this piece in The Atlantic and have wanted to blog it for a few weeks. It is entitled Untruth and Consequences by Carl M. Cannon. The first line is an eye grabber: "From Washington to FDR to Nixon, presidents have always lied. Here’s what makes George Bush different." With all the rhetoric about WMD’s, quagmires, 9/11 conspiracies, Guantanamo, etc. floating around, this article was just begging to be read. The article starts out with lies told by FDR’s aids about his health. He was in poor shape but with Allies getting ready to kick some ass in Europe and the Navy bouncing around in the Pacific it seemed prudent to lie to America about how many hours the President actually worked- at most 4 hours and day, sometimes as little as 1. From Times Online: President Bush today fuelled anger over his decision to spare Lewis “Scooter” Libby from jail by hinting that he could yet issue a full pardon for the ex-White House aide. Who's angry? Mostly the Democrats. Because it is Bush. How many people has Bush pardoned during his presidency as compared to his predecessor? He set a 50-year record low for pardons in Texas, granting only 19, including six convicts who proved their innocence. As president, he's granted just 113 in just over six years — the stingiest record among the 11 presidents since the end of World War II. If you will recall, Clinton pardoned 117 people on his LAST day as President. Here is the list of all 400 people who Clinton pardoned, under far more nefarious circumstances than Libby might get, just to put things in perspective. I wonder if we can look forward to more of these schenanigans if Hillary survives the polls.

Pelosi’s smoke and mirrors bill was DOA as the G dub vetoed the shit out of it, as he appropriately promised the Democrats some time ago. I use the ‘smoke and mirrors’ metaphor because after reading the contents of her “bi-partisan” bill, it is nothing short of a bribe to her fellow Democrats, a sign of surrender to our troops, and a treaty with Bin Laden, Amadnejhad, and any other fanatic who wishes to do the United States harm. The media are remiss in truly reporting the outright lies of the Democrats and their “We hate Bush more than all the other troublemakers in the world” mantra. Pelosi and her fellow lemmings report to exhaustion how fair the bill was and how the President ruled against Congress and the American people for vetoing this bill. Bi-partisan?
