U.S. loses 2016 Olympics, America safer

It appears Obama is pretty shaken up about it. I read the decision by the Olympic committee to dump Chicago in the first round. Watching the Obamas try and convince the committee to come to the U.S. was absolutely pathetic. That meeting was supposed to be about money, logistics and convincing the committee that Chicago could handle the swarm of people from around the world, not about having to listen to the First Lady cry like a Homecoming Queen as she brought up her childhood. Lame, lame, lame.

In exceptionally good taste was the avenue in which the Obamas took to deliver their speeches to the 106 member Olympic Committee. The failed trip was paid for by our tax dollars.

I think that the Obamas are quit upset at this failure because it is so 'in their face'- there is no body else to blame but themselves, no scape goat this time. He has failed many times but the media and his aids have always had an excuse to bail him out. Oh, they are all over this one but nobody is buying it. But it gets better- It's Bush's fault! This retarded accusation comes from Chicago's own Rep. Bobby Rush. These Democrats crack me up! I jut wonder when the statute of limitations is going be up for that defense.

My question is this: If Obama can't convince the Olympic Committee with a force of 2 Obamas and an Oprah, how the hell is he going to convince Iran to give up their nukes?

I am glad that Rio got the thumbs up for 2 reasons:

1. Obama has weakened the security of this nation. Chicago would almost certainly have suffered terrorist action.

2. Rio has hotter women than Chicago.

  1. The dedication the GOP has to undermining this administration runs parallel to the fight Bush had during his time with the Democrats. Both sides are guilty and both sides are what's wrong with our political system.

Unfortunately for Obama, he needs little help in making himself look bad. I really think he surrounds himself with the bitter people who felt wronged under Bush and are now taking thier revenge.

I watched Cantor's blathering and it seems like he just spouted the first assinine thing that came to his mind. So the Dems and the Media splash his face all over the place, kind of like when Fox and the GOP do whenever Pelosi opens her mouth.

Thank you for dropping by with some insightful musings. I don't get that here much!

  2. TK,
I agree with you that both sides are what is wrong with our political system.

Obama going personally to pander for the Olympics in what is essentialy his home turf left him looking rather inpotent. Deservedly so.
As an American Citizen, I wasn't aware of Chicago's running in a bid for the Olympic games until our Prez was boarding Air Force one.
Seeing as he has a long political history there and probably owes more than a few "Debts" I am glad with the outcome.

We and our fellow American's need to start handing out pink slips to both parties starting in 10, and to start to find people who want to repesent their fellow American's in a republic and not the corporations, special interest, and all the others that have a stangle hold on our country.

BTW, I would rather watch Rio Hotties any day...
I can't even come up with a description for Chicago... Oprah in a bikini.. SHUDDER..

  3. Oprah in anything other than flannel and a pair of long johns leaves too much to the imagination.

I must say that my expectations for the American people are really starting to wane. Two terms of Clinton, two terms of Bush and now this guy.
