Asshat breaks law, runs from police; police chase asshat, force him off road; asshat is now paralyzed

What you would probably expect to read after that headline is an impending lawsuit by the quadriplegic against the police and a liberal judge compensating the asshat's poor judgment. Well, you would be half right.

In 2001, Victor Harris, 19 years old at the time, ran from the police like a Kennedy from a car accident. One of the officers ran him off the road and as a result from the crash Harris is now paralyzed. Harris got a Johnny Cochran wanna-be to file a case against the police department for violation of Harris' 4th amendment rights.

In case you aren't familiar with this amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The case went all the way to the Supreme Court and, on April 30th, the court ruled in favor of the police department saying the officers "used reasonable force" to apprehend the fleeing asshat.

The law was written by rich white men for rich white men. Racist cops can run you off the road or even kill you if they decide that you dont fit in the neighborhood. Racist white America will always oink for the pigs when the black man and poor people get abused by the white power structure.
Oh, I get it now. The racist police only run black drivers off the roads because everyone else pulls over when the lights come on. Great, another Jackson/Sharpton indoctrinated douchebag who tries to make race the first and only issue.

A crucial element in the case was the video shot by the officers in pursuit. It was this video that swayed 8 of the 9 judges in favor of law enforcement. The video can be seen on CNN's website

Dog in Jail

Duane "Dog" Chapman is a celebrity icon here in Hawaii. He doesn't sing in Waikiki, he isn't a politician and he doesn't give surfing lessons on North Shore. He brings in bad guys- he is a bounty hunter. Dog is a bail bondsman and his business Da Kine Bailbonds is featured on A&E. Dog and his family are on the constant search for bail jumpers and continually clean up the streets in Hawaii by bringing in ice heads, crack heads, rapists, and thugs. Although he is surrounded by a bad element, he treats his prisoners fairly, after eveyone has cooled down, and then he dispenses his Chicken Soup for the Soul Dog Style. My 3 year old loves Dog and sings the song that opens the show. He recognizes not only Dog but also his family.
